What to put on each line
- Description — one line per deliverable. Avoid grouping (you lose negotiating leverage).
- Qty / Hrs — units make audit easier than lump sums.
- Terms & assumptions — call out what the price does not include (revisions limit, materials passthrough, after-hours surcharge).
Once accepted
Convert the same line items into the Invoice template with the quote number in the reference field. Track the deal from lead to close on the Order Form or any CRM you use.
