A bag topper is the label, the seal, and the ingredient list in one fold
Treat bag toppers are the fastest way to turn a clear cello bag of pretzels or cookies into something that looks intentional at a class party. The topper folds over the open end of the bag and gets stapled through both layers, so it closes the bag and decorates it at the same time. For school parties that is also the practical place to be allergy-aware: use the second text line for "Contents: pretzels, raisins" or "Nut-free — made in a shared kitchen" so parents and teachers can read what is inside without opening anything. Room parents often print one sheet of the Plain theme with the contents line and one themed sheet, then pick whichever fits the bag.
Assembly is cut, fold, staple. Each piece prints as a tall rectangle with a dashed fold line across the middle: the lower half is the decorated front, the upper half folds behind the bag (its faint "BACK" label ends up hidden against the bag). Cut on the solid lines, crease the fold against a ruler, fold the piece over the gathered top of the bag, and put two staples through the small circles on the front's bottom edge — the circles are placed at 25 % and 75 % of the width so the staples sit clear of your text. Print on 65–80 lb cardstock; copy paper will tear at the staples once the bags are handled by thirty kids.
Matching bag widths: the standard 4-inch cello / treat bag (4 × 6 in or 4 × 9 in) takes the 10 cm topper; small favor bags and 3-inch snack-size bags take the 7.5 cm option. In the 4 per page layout toppers are 6 cm tall folded, which covers the gathered top of a 4 × 6 bag; switch to 2 per page for an 8 cm tall topper with more room for a long headline and a contents line. On A4 the two columns scale down a few millimetres so they still fit side-by-side — the subtitle on the sheet shows the exact finished size.
