Three resume styles, one source of truth
Modern uses a colored sidebar for contact, skills, and education with a wide right column for narrative — best for design, marketing, and product roles. Classic centers the name in serif type with a single-column flow — the safe default for legal, finance, and academia. Minimal goes left-aligned sans serif with thin section rules — clean for engineering and senior IC roles.
ATS-friendly notes
All three templates use standard section names(Summary, Experience, Skills, Education) and a single-column reading order in the rendered PDF, which keeps applicant tracking systems happy. Avoid replacing the section labels with cute synonyms (“What I’ve been up to”) — that’s the most common reason ATS skip a field.
