A printable Christmas planner for the whole December stack

A printable Christmas planner is for the household that is hosting, mailing, and shopping in the same four weeks — not for capturing a child’s wish list. This generator builds one PDF from four optional sections: a weeks-before countdown with suggested focuses (budget, ship-slow orders, cards, guest count, wrap, final shop, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day), a gift list with a budget column plus bought/wrapped checkboxes, a menu plan that splits Christmas Eve dinner, breakfast, dinner, dessert, and leftovers, and a card mailing checklist with stamp, mailed, and received boxes.

Keep this separate from the Christmas Wish List (ideas and sizes before you set a dollar cap), the Gift List in Budget & Finance (year-round gifting, not a December pack), and the Christmas Card Exchange List (a multi-year sent/received archive). The menu page is Christmas-week meals, not the Thanksgiving Meal Planner turkey-and-oven sheet.

How to use the countdown and budget columns

  1. In late October, print the countdown and write owners in the Who column so ship-slow gifts leave the house on time.
  2. Copy names from the wish list onto the gift page and fill Budget before anyone opens a shopping tab.
  3. Lock the menu once the guest count is real — leftover containers fail more Christmas dinners than recipes do.
  4. Run the card checklist in two passes: address + stamp one weekend, mailed checkboxes the next.

Uncheck sections you already track elsewhere so the download stays short. Raise rows to 16–20 if the card list or gift list is a long family. Letter and A4 both keep the same columns; print at 100% scale so the checkboxes stay large enough to mark with a pen.
