Faceoff dots in the right place is half the diagram

Hockey plays don't translate to a generic rectangle — the geometry of faceoff dots, blue-line offsides, and the offensive zoneis what your players read instinctively. This template draws all five faceoff circles, both blue lines, the center red line, both goal lines, and both creases at correct ratios from a real NHL rink (200' × 85', 28-ft rounded corners).

Offensive zone viewis the most useful single layout — it's where powerplay, breakout-into-rush, cycle, and forecheck plays actually live. The blue line on the left, goal line on the right, both end-zone faceoff circles, and the crease are all you need for 80% of drill sketches.

Use the 4 mini rinks layout for full-game special-teams installs (powerplay, penalty kill, neutral-zone forecheck, defensive-zone coverage on one sheet). Pair with the Coach Practice Plan and the game-day Lineup / Roster Sheet.
